- Government Actions:Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry Consent Order
On August 17, 2020, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn.Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11(b) (6)(8)(9), 326B.809; 326B.84 (2)(4)(15)(16) (2018). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to verify that a subcontractor is properly licensed or registered before hiring the subcontractor; provide reasonable supervision for employees, subcontractors and salespersons. The business will also include approximate start and completion dates on all of their contracts with Minnesota consumers; and if the dates changes, a written change order with the new dates will be signed by all parties. In addition, the business shall not require final payment until all contracted work has passed final inspection. The business will also fully cooperate with DLI and any future investigations or inquires.
