Since 1911 Schmidt’s has been instrumental in uniting buyers and sellers of Antiques and Art through the process known as Auctions.
We strive to make the entire process simple, honest and productive for both parties. We can provide appraisal, pick-up, inventory, photography, research, cataloging, advertising and sale of one item or an entire collection.
Our consignor payments are always on time, as promised, without excuses.
Advertising can be targeted to specific audiences through traditional print media and various online vehicles, we have also developed extensive mailing lists and an active Facebook page to provide up to date information to collectors and potential buyers worldwide.
Buyers can bid with the confidence afforded through our accurate, honest descriptions and meticulous condition reports along with high resolution photography of any item we sell. Bidding can be executed live in-house, online simultaneously or through the Liveauctioneers absentee system, live over the phone or through our own in-house absentee bidding system.
We also assist buyers in local and worldwide shipping arraignments of purchases and even drop off small items at the local UPS Store so buyers can avoid additional pick-up charges.
Our facilities and systems have all been designed and purpose built in order to produce high level auctions for the sale of your Antique Clock and Watch Collections.
Cataloging, photography, auction preview and the auction itself are all done within our large gallery to eliminate extra moving and handling of your items and ensure their safety and security throughout the entire process.
