- Additional Info:On 7/15/2019 BBB received a consumer report alleging that this business requested advanced payment via non-refundable wire transfer, for a puppy advertised online that once paid for was never delivered. The consumer also informed that after payment in the amount of $365.66 was sent, the business referred the consumer to a pet transportation business called Pet Relocators, who requested additional payment for a crate fee in the amount of $1000.00. After payment for the crate was sent, Pet Relocators requested that the consumer pay an additional fee of $3500.00.
BBB initiated an investigation to research this matter further.
Over the course of the investigation, BBB determined that the address the business claims to operate from is an apartment complex.
BBB also determined that the business is not registered as a business entity in the state of Maryland.
When BBB reviewed the business' website, BBB determined that the testimonials displayed are not unique, and appear on 3 other websites advertising puppies for sale.
BBB reviewed the 'about us' page of the website and determined that the information is displayed on another website, verbatim.
BBB also confirmed that County Boxer Home is not properly licensed/registered to provide dog breeding services. It was also confirmed that Pet Relocators is not licensed/registered to provide pet transportation services.
Based on this information, BBB is not able to confirm the legitimacy of this business.
