On 4/30/2019 the Massachusetts Attorney General's office announced that Amigos Homecare, LLC will pay $2,130,000 to resolve allegations that the business submitted false claims to MassHealth for home health services that had not been appropriately authorized by a physician. The business must implement a multi-year independent compliance program if it wishes to continue to provide and bill for services for MassHealth members in the future.
