On 6/18/2018 the Federal Trade Commission announced that the operators of FBA Stores, LLC were banned from marketing and selling business opportunities and business coaching services under a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission, and they will surrender millions of dollars for return to consumers.
According to the FTC, the defendants falsely claimed their “Amazing Wealth System” would enable consumers to create a profitable online business selling products. Buyers, however, did not earn the advertised income. Most of them lost significant amounts of money. The settlement order also bans the defendants from making false earnings claims. It imposes a judgment of more than $102 million, which will be partially suspended when they have surrendered approximately $10.8 million to the FTC. The order also prohibits them from profiting from consumers’ personal information collected as part of the scheme, and failing to dispose of it properly.
On 08/11/2020 the FTC issued this following press release. The Federal Trade Commission is mailing checks and sending PayPal payments totaling more than $9.1 million to customers who paid for an “Amazing Wealth System” workshop. The FTC is sending checks to 13,348 customers with an average refund amount of $684.24. The FTC recommends Those who receive checks should deposit or cash their checks within 60 days. People who paid for workshops from FBA Stores and related companies but did not receive a refund, should contact the refund administrator at the number below.

On 12/8/2017 the Washington Attorney General's office announced that it had filed a consumer protection lawsuit against FBA Stores, LLC alleging it deceptively advertises and sells training packages to potentially thousands of Washingtonians for as much as $35,000 with promises of inside information on how to make money selling online.
