- Advertising Review:On 01/23/2020 BBB wrote to Europe Today Furniture, Inc. and asked the business to substantiate the following advertising claims: "Deal of the Day" advertised for over 15 days."Discount Sale up to 70% OFF" with no dates of start or end and not specific to any product on the site."We finance everyone", "No credit check financing" The "financing" offered is not true financing per the terms and conditions of the application it is a "Lease-Purchase agreement" or "rent to own transaction". BBB found that these claims were in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising regarding:Basic Principles of the CodeThe primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast and SalesThe unqualified term “sale” may be used in advertising only if there is a significant reduction from the advertiser's usual and customary price of the products or services offered and the sale is for a limited period of time. If the sale exceeds thirty (30) days, advertisers should be prepared to substantiate that the offering is indeed a valid price reduction and has not become their regular price. As of 3/10/20 the business has failed to respond to BBB. No postal mail was returned to BBB.
