- Advertising Review:On September 29, 2020, BBB challenged several advertising claims made on Flow of Life Chiroporactic's ("Flow of Life") official company website and facebook page. Specifically, BBB requested that the business substantiate claims relating to the safety and efficacy of chiropractic care as it concerns specific conditions, such as ADD/ADHD and behavioral disorders. Additionally, BBB requested that the business substantiate claims that represent chiropractic care as capable of meaningfully impacting the human immune system and childhood brain plasticity. Finally, BBB challenged two customer testimonials that represented Flow of Life's care as resulting in decreased medicine usage for typically durable psychiatric conditions, such as depression and anxiety. BBB requested that Flow of Life substantiate these experiences as "typical." Because the claims are medical and scientific in nature, BBB requested that any substantiation abide by principles of competent science. BBB challenged these claims pursuant to the BBB Code of Advertising, Section 34 - Claimed Benefits, and Section 30 - Testimonials and Benefits. As of 02/11/2020, the business has failed to respond to BBB requests. The case has been closed as unsubstantiated.
