The following describes a government action that has been resolved by either a settlement or a decision by a court or administrative agency. If the matter is being appealed, it will be noted below.
On May 20, 2016, GR Construction, Inc and Glenn B. Ricamona (Respondent) entered into a Settlement Agreement with Regulated Industries Complaint Office (RICO), resolving complaint CLB-2012-417-L.
RICO alleges Respondent allegedly exhibited poor workmanship in the renovation of a residence, specifically with flooring, in violation of HAR § 16-77-97 and did not have a written contract for the renovation work in violation of HRS § 444-25.5. Respondent Ricamona, as the RME of Respondent GR Construction, Inc. is responsible for the conduct of GR Construction, Inc. pursuant to HAR § 16-77-71.
The foregoing allegations, if proven at an administrative hearing before the Board, would constitute violations of Hawaii Revised Statutes.
Respondent entered into settlement agreement freely, knowingly, voluntarily and under no coercion or duress; Respondent voluntarily waived it's right to be represented by an attorney.
Respondent do not admit to violating any law or rule but acknowledges that RICO has sufficient cause to file a Petition for Disciplinary Action against Respondent's licenses.
Respondent agreed that this settlement agreement is intended to resolve the issues raised in Regulated Industries Complaint Office (RICO) investigation into complaint CLB-2012-417-L. Respondent understands that this settlement agreement is public record pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 92F.
