BuyaTimeshare.com has met with BBB on regular basis and communicated the efforts it has made to eliminate the issues leading to the filing of complaints. The business indicated that it conducted a comprehensive review of its sales and customer service procedures, resulting in new policies which included the implementation of written sales contracts and customer surveys. Prior to a potential customer becoming an advertiser, the customer is now given a survey stating that 1) the customer has priced their own property for sale, 2) the customer was never promised that a buyer or renter was waiting, and 3) there was no guaranteed timeframe within which their timeshare would be sold or rented. If a customer does not agree with those statements in writing, they cannot become an advertiser and no money is paid to the company. In addition, all services provided are included in a written contract electronically agreed to by the customer before an advertisement is placed live onto the company website. Additional formal sales and customer service training has been implemented to ensure that these and all other policies are adhered to by company staff. In addition, calls are recorded and reviewed as needed, and failure by staff to consistently adhere to company policies will result in dismissal from the company.
