On April 29, 2019, BBB received a Scam Tracker Report alleging that Direct Staffing Services posted a job on an online board. The consumer was advised to submit their resume to Chris Major and then asked to sign up for a scrum master course to show that a certification was in process. The consumer was then asked to pay $599; the credit card charge was submitted from a company located in India.
On April 30, 2019, BBB attempted to send mail to Direct Staffing Services at 4500 9th Ave NE Seattle, Washington 98105. On May 10, 2019, BBB was contacted by All Team Staffing, which is the business physically located there. All Team Staffing confirmed Direct Staffing is neither related to their company nor physically located at the advertised address. BBB could not locate a business license for Direct Staffing with the Washington Department of Revenue. Further, BBB has reason to believe that Direct Staffing Services is not located in the state of Washington.
As of May 10, 2019, the company has not responded to BBB's requests for background information or a valid mailing address.
