Its listing at angi.com states "All of our work comes with complete labor and material warranties - gutters - labor 5yrs, materials 50yrs; screens - labor 3yrs, materials vary depending on system (3-10yrs)." According to the BBB Code of Advertising, when using the term warranty in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale or viewed on the advertiser’s website. Any material limitations or conditions that apply to the guarantee must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. The business did not respond to BBB's request that it add these details to its advertising.Its website states "Retractable awnings will reduce your reliance on air conditioning. Research has shown that shading from your new awning can reduce cooling costs up to 60%." Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data. BBB requested that the business provide documentation that supports these claims but did not receive a reply.

An advertiser must not express or imply that a product or product line is exclusively “Made in USA” unless all or virtually all of the product is made in the U.S. All significant parts and processing that go into the product must be of U.S. origin. The product should contain no or negligible foreign content. The business did not provide substantiation for this claim. As of April 2024, references to Made in USA have been removed from the website; however, the claim "Our screen products are all American Made in Texas by Universal Screens" appears at the company's listing at angi.com.
