Some customers may have an unrealistic expectation of the warranty provided and will not refer to our literature as encouraged. There are several steps that we can make in order to offer even further clarification of our processes.
Our claims representatives are the first contact in this process and additional training will be provided in order to ensure they are offering a clear explanation of the reimbursement process.
The client is informed of this process in writing by email with an explanation of the process along with instructions on how to view the terms and conditions of the agreement. More emphasis will be placed on this written explanation in the email and the verbiage will be reevaluated to see if it can be changed to offer as much clarification as possible.
In the client's online dashboard the contract is linked for the client to download and reference via their home warranty summary page. This link will be emphasized in bold text and presented in a clear and obvious place.
If a repair is completed that is not covered per the terms and conditions of the agreement an explanation will be provided in writing with reference to the relevant sections of the contract.
Lastly a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section will be added to our website for the client or prospective client to refer to in order to offer another avenue of information regarding the home warranty product.
