It came to BBB's attention that Rentaplacefast LLC has received consumer complaints concerning sales practice issues.
Consumer complaints allege the apartments advertised are not affiliated with the business after they contacted the apartments directly, and concerns with the rental application process. Specifically, consumers allege they are required to pay application fees upfront, however they are later denied without explanation. Consumers have also alleged they received contact from representatives with www.rentaplacefast.com and www.privaterentalhouses.com.
One consumer alleged that after filing their complaint with BBB, the business contacted them directly to offer a refund if the consumer took their complaint down.
BBB was not able to verify the apartment properties are owned by Rentaplacefast or its listed managing members. Per consumer information provided, the business is listing Craigslist advertisements with their contact information for several apartments. When the consumer contacted the apartments directly, they found the business has no current affiliation with the apartments.
BBB verified the creation dates of websites given from consumer complaints. The website www.rentaplacefast.com was created on June 27, 2019; and www.privaterentalhouses.com was created on August 15, 2019. - Additional Info:Since September 2019, BBB received consumer complaints filed against Houses4Rent alleging the business is affiliated with and using the same contact information as several other business names, such as Rentaplacefast LLC and PrivateRentalHouses.
BBB did not receive a response from the business to address these consumer complaint allegations.
