Pattern of Complaints:
In November 2017, it has come to BBB's attention that Global Package Solutions has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging delivery and customer service issues. Specifically, consumers allege customer service did not provide assistance or requests for support to address delivery issues.
BBB made multiple attempts to reach out to the business in efforts to obtain their position on consumer complaint issues. The business has expressed they do not wish to be contacted by the BBB, and requested their position to be noted for future complaints:
"To whom it may concern:
We are not a member of the Better Business Bureau because, in principle, we do not support your business model, which requires payment to the tune of hundreds of dollars annually to become and remain one of your accredited members. Many people, including ourselves, find this suspect as evidenced by ABC Television's 20/20 investigative report on the BBB which aired in November 2010. Here is a link, which includes the video. Another source of the 20/20 broadcast can be found on You Tube here . In addition, the grading system employed by BBB does not factor in the tens of thousands of satisfied customers on behalf of whom we have forwarded more than 500,000 packages during the 17 years we have been in business.
Given the rise of social media which provide endless outlets for customer complaints such as Facebook, Rip Off Report and Angie's List, it is nearly impossible to keep up and respond to each and every venue.
We regret that not all customer complaints can be addressed to the consumer's satisfaction. However, we do respect and support consumer advocacy and we remain committed to instituting and maintaining constructive personal dialog when any issues arise. Furthermore, we pledge our honesty and respect to all who involve themselves with ShipitAPO.
Please save the above information as our position for all past, current and future complaints registered with your service. Please also refrain from sending us further reminder notices about unanswered complaints via email and/or our mailing address. Simply put: DO NOT SEND US ANY CORRESPONDENCE OF ANY TYPE.
if you continue to send us unsolicited emails, like the one you just sent, you will be reported as a confirmed SPAMMER to every Federal Agency that tracks SPAMMERS, including, but not limited to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
jpc
