Multiple Consumers report to the BBB the following scenario:
Consumer/employee receives an email stating that they would be making $3,000 a month guaranteed to have packages shipped to their door to send out at the nearest location. They would have to take pictures of the packages and upload them to the company invoice. The "company" asks for a photo ID and asks the "employee" to sign a contract. If the consumer/employee agrees, they then receive the packages for approximately 1 month, are never "paid" and are then blocked with no way to reach the "company".
- Advertising Review:In December 2022 and January 2023, Best Logistics (https://worldwidetradelogistics.com) was brought to the Better Business Bureau serving Delaware's attention from consumer complaints about the legitimacy of their employment offer. Consumers are offered a position over the internet with little or no experience necessary. On two occasions the bureau requested verification of actual employment and 10 names of people who have made earnings while employed by this company.
According to the BBB's Code of Advertising, Basic Principles: The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any claims or offers made before publication or broadcast and, upon request, present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or the Better Business Bureau.
To date the Bureau has not received a response.
Consumers are warned to use caution before engaging in any employment with a work-at-home company. BBBs nationwide have very rarely found legitimate work-at-home employment.
