- Advertising Review:The Better Business Bureau contacted this company on two occasions in January 2020 to verify that the company has a physical (brick & mortar) location in Delaware. The company's address was brought to the bureau's attention by unauthorized use of the BBB logo. In researching the company's address, it appears that the company is using an incorporation service address and does not have a physical presence within the state of Delaware. The BBB has not been able to determine where the company is conducting business.
According the BBB Code of Advertising Basic Principles: Advertisements should be truthful, sincere offers to sell. Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request. All advertising that may mislead or deceive consumers should be avoided.
To date the bureau has received no reply to its request for substantiation of the company's physical location.
In addition, the Bureau contacted this company about violating the BBB name and logo policy. So Glam, one of the company's websites has falsely stated BBB accreditation (or membership) or referenced the BBB name in an unauthorized manner, despite BBBs efforts to get the business to cease using the BBB trademark. This use of the BBB trademark constitutes trademark infringement and is a violation of trademark rights of the International Association of Better Business Bureaus, Inc.
The bureau on two occasions requested written verification that the company would cease use of the BBB Trademark. To date the Better Business Bureau has received no response.
