A refund maybe made ONLY under certain conditions. The couple shall send a writtencancellation notification of their wedding ceremony to MIBWO. Failure to senda written notification to MIBWO is a material breach of this contract and forfeits ANY refund due to the couple. The contract provides a ninety (90) day written notice cancellation provision.Only the couple can request a cancellation. No other third party may request acancellation for a refund of fees and/or communicate with MIBWO on behalf ofthe couple. Only the couple is a party to this contract. Thecontract does not allow the couple to name any assignsand or successors to the contract. A couple may request inwriting of MIBWO to reschedule officiant services in the future for thecouple’s rescheduled wedding ceremony. This provision is allowed up to six (6) months from the couple’s original canceled contract wedding date if MIBWO is available.

The ceremony officiated by MIBWO, asper the terms and conditions of this contract, is a legally binding contract ofmarriage, registered and recognized by the State, regardless of the couple’sopinion of the ceremony. A couple disliking the ceremony officiated by MIBWO isnot a valid reason for a refund. A refund, when approved by MIBWO will bemailed out to the couple at the address listed in the contract within fourteen(14) business days from the date of the couple’s written cancellation notificationrequest to MIBWO. Once a couple endorses and cashes a refund check from MIBWO,the couple then waives any further rights present or future, and releases MIBWOfrom any other present and or future financial obligations to the couple in anyway. Any refund paid by MIBWO to the couple isfinal. Thisright shall survive the termination of this contract.

An approved refund may be made under certain conditions. Anapproved situation may refund fees paid by the couple to MIBWO, minus a $250 cancellation charge (*$150 for an elopementceremony). Once MIBWO schedules a date and time for acouple, MIBWO is contracted to that couple and cannot provide and schedule officiantservices to other couples on the same date and time. The $250 (*$150) cancellationcharge covers expenses incurred by MIBWO regarding administration, communications, consultations, preparations, etc.to officiate at the couple’s wedding ceremony. This secured date and time reservationrequires hours of preparation to create an approved wedding ceremony. Cancellationsfor any reason, made by the couple and/or for nonoccurrence of a weddingceremony taking place due to enacted by State/National Emergency Law rulings, must be in writing by the couple and sent to MIBWO.

If it becomes necessary during the weddingceremony planning process for MIBWO to terminate the Contract between theParties due to disagreements, MIBWO maintains the exclusive and sole right toterminate this Contract. MIBWO may refund fees paid minus a $250 (*$150) charge for financial damages that MIBWOincurs due to lost booked reservations, work time, and preparations incurred byMIBWO. The couple's signatures acknowledge that thecouple understands, agrees to, and the couple is bound by this provision of theContract.

When in the rarecase, an exception is granted by MIBWO to refund fees paid outside the usual and customary termsand conditions of this contract, in whole or in part, due to an extraordinary circumstance, for a cancellation exception of anyreason, such situations require the couple and MIBWO to communicate directly and only with each other. Any refund paid by MIBWO to the couple is final. A non-refundable retainer of $250 (*$150) applies to any and all fees received anddeposited by MIBWO before any refund due is made by MIBWO to the couple. Any other partyattempting to communicate on behalf of the couple toMIBWO is not binding upon the couple and is not binding on MIBWO. If the couplearranges to have any and all fees due to MIBWO and paid to MIBWO, regardless ofany fees paid from any other persons or sources, this contract considers allsuch fee payments, regardless of the payor, as fees being paid by the couple toMIBWO. If MIBWO is available for a futuredate, time, and location, for the couple then all fees credited to datethat has been paid to MIBWO, shall then apply as credit for such weddingofficiant services. Additional fees may apply, aschanges, and additional expenses may be applicable.
