  In May 2024, BBB contacted Glow Medical Aesthetics regarding claims in its advertising.
  
  Its website, Facebook page, and other online advertising include many health benefit claims related to the treatments offered at its facility.  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal, therapeutic, and ingredient claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims. Below is a sample of some of the health benefit and ingredient claims in its advertising. 
  "PRP can be added to your microneedling treatment for enhanced rejuvenation. Injections utilize your concentrated platelets to regenerate collagen and elastin fibers, strengthening your skin. It is a natural way to improve fine wrinkles and improve skin texture as a natural filler product. You will see the result for up to two years." 
  "Glow Medical Aesthetics offers IV infusion blends loaded with electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote health.  Provides your body with natural energy; Boosts Immunity; Cleanses your body of toxins and free radicals; Increases circulation & promotes cardiovascular health; Promotes tissue joint and muscle recovery."
  "The Myers Cocktail: The original IV infusion therapy created by Dr. John Myers was developed to treat the symptoms of chronic conditions such as asthma, anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and migraines."

  BBB requested that claims that are not able to be substantiated with proper scientific documentation are either removed or modified.  To date, the business has not substantiated, modified, or removed the claims.
