  In May 2024, BBB contacted Revive Beauty & Wellness regarding claims in its advertising.
  
  Its website states "We lead the nation in administering intravenous high Dose Vitamin C. What separates us from other companies is we use a non-corn-based vitamin c without pesticides. We also follow strict protocols that have had numerous years of studies done on animals prior to humans that have shown benefits and a correct and safe way to administer and treat patients."  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, advertisers must not deceptively or falsely disparage a competitor or competing products or services in their advertising. Truthful comparisons using factual information may help consumers make informed buying decisions, provided all representations are consistent with the general rules and prohibitions against false and deceptive advertising; all comparisons that claim or imply, unqualifiedly, superiority to competitive products or services are not based on a selected or limited list of characteristics in which the advertiser excels while ignoring those in which the competitor excels; the advertisement clearly and conspicuously discloses any material or significant limitations of the comparison; and the advertiser can substantiate all claims made.  The business did not provide substantiation for these claims.
  
  Its advertising also includes many health benefit claims related to the ingredients and treatments offered at its facility.  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal and therapeutic claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims. Below is a sample of some of the health benefit claims in  its advertising. 
  "EMSLIM - uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to trigger what's called supramaximal contractions (the kind that cannot be achieved by voluntary muscle action).  It not only implodes fat cells (for a 19 percent loss after four treatments) but simultaneously builds muscle fibers (by roughly 16 percent) for more defined abs and rounder rear-ends."
