Important information
- Advertising Review:On October 18, October 30 and November 6, 2024, BBB requested that the business modify its website to be in compliance with the BBB Code of Advertising.
Specifically, BBB noted that the company’s website features the statement, “1-4.5% Interest Rate for Clients with a 640 credit score; No Money Down Needed.”
The BBB Code of Advertising addresses credit offers in Section 16, where it states in part, “Whenever a specific credit term is advertised, it must actually be available to all consumers. The federal Truth in Lending Act, as well as applicable state and provincial laws set requirements for clearly and conspicuously disclosing credit terms in the advertisement.”
BBB requested details about the business’s financing options and documentation to substantiate these terms.
The business did not respond to BBB regarding these matters nor did they revise their advertising.
