Regarding advertising issues, consumers allege that after purchasing a trial offer for the price of shipping, they are unknowingly enrolled in a monthly subscription that auto ships products and charges a monthly fee, after consumers fail to cancel within the “14-day trial period.” Further, consumers allege that they are unknowingly re-enrolled in the subscription program through a link sent via email or text message and are continuously billed the monthly subscription fee even after confirmed cancellation. Consumers also claim that refunds are refused and that partial refunds are only offered when products are returned to the business at the consumer’s expense. Lastly, consumers allege that this business does not provide responses to customer service inquiries and claim that customer support emails and numbers offered are often inactive.
On May 02, 2019, BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints. As of June 24, 2020, BBB has had no response.
