I was a "warrior" who accepted a job to remove 40 cardboard boxes. Upon arriving at the pickup location, I was astonished at the number of boxes to pick up that I saw in the driveway. The photos that the customer sent to ************************** to get a price and pay for the removal service were deceptive as they did not show the complete amount of boxes. There were well over 85+ boxes. I stopped counting at 85. Not only did the amount of boxes exceed 40, hidden under the boxes by the customer who requested the pick up, there was an entire rooms worth of wet carpeting, misc. construction debris, multiple small kitchen appliances, a outdoor heater, paint cans (both empty and full), glass, shelving, pallets and, multiple other random items. I informed the customer that I would have to take photos of the pile of boxes and the hidden items to send to Trash Warrior and the price would likely go up. The customer understood and said "well I have cash." I then sent the photos to Trash Warriors support team and explained to them that there was more than ************************************************************************* to dispose of with no response for over 2 hours. Within those 2+ hours I broke the boxes down and put them in contractor size trash bags as well as organizing and moving the hidden items and took a photo of those separated from the boxes. I sent the photos of the items separated to support and still heard nothing for at least another 45 minutes. The support team offered me no help and kept telling me that they were trying to get in touch with the customer. While waiting for support to get back to me the customer comes out of her home and shows me a receipt that she received for the removal of 40 cardboard boxes from Trash Warrior. I explained to her that the amount of boxes well over exceeded ********************************************************************************** to dispose of them and the misc. hidden items and I would need more money for payment for dump fees and my labor from 'TW'. She then became irate and said "I have a receipt and Im not paying any more." She then goes inside. At this point all of the boxes including the extra boxes that were there were in bags and I was ready to leave once I heard from support about what to do about the extra boxes and other items. Customer support finally called me and told me that I was being fired from 'TW' for propositioning the customer to pay me directly. I never once asked the customer to pay me directly. Multiple times I informed the customer that the payment would need to be processed with 'TW'. I tried to explain that to the support agent that called me. They did not want to listen to anything that I was trying to explain to them as they kept interrupting me. They told me "It doesn't matter what I said they side with the customer because they were told that I tried to proposition the customer for direct payment to me instead of going thru them." I was told to leave the bags of boxes there and to leave the customers house, I tried to tell the support agent on the phone that I would need at least partial payment from the job since I at that point had spent over 3.5 hours of my time breaking the boxes down, putting them in bags, and moving all of the hidden items. They told me they would speak to a supervisor and ask about what my payment amount would be and a supervisor would call me the next morning as it was past 8pm and the support team hours ended at 8pm. The next day I waited for a call from a supervisor that never came. That evening I received a message stating that I would not be allowed to accept any more jobs from them. I never heard from a supervisor or received any payment. I wasted my time, labor, and effort for this job only to unload it all from my vehicle and place it back in the customers driveway (neatly in bags and organized.) I lost other opportunities to make money that day as an independent contractor and other phone calls I received for money making jobs so I could complete the job from 'TW.' The way that support handled the entire situation from start to finish was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. They ask you to contact them when you arrive to a location for a pickup and find that there are more items or unlisted items that the customer wants to to remove, I did exactly that and even sent multiple pictures with no response for hours. I did not ask the customer to pay me directly like I was being accused of. I only went above and beyond to do the job I accepted from 'TW' and even bagged and loaded the extra boxes. This company does not care about their 'warriors' and only care about ratings which as you can see are not exceptionally great. I was told I would hear from a supervisor and receive at minimum partial payment. Neither one happened. No phone call and no payment whatsoever came. I wasted my time and effort doing this job. I would not recommend anyone to accept any jobs from this company or even contract them for any service due to their completely incompetent support department, the lack of professionalism, and below industry compensation or in my case of lack of compensation at all.
