On November 1, 2022, Zipp Funding Inc entered into a Desist and Refrain Order with the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. The Desist and Refrain Order settles allegations that the business was not authorized to engage in the business of finance lending or brokering, in the state of California. Under terms of the Desist and Refrain Order, the business was ordered to desist and refrain from engaging in the business of finance lending and brokering in the state of California without first obtaining a license from the Commissioner or otherwise being exempt.
