Complainants state they are then required to pay an insurance fee before the loan money can be disbursed. To date none of the promised loans have been received or any monies refunded to consumers.
BBB has confirmed that the address in Pleasanton stated on paperwork does not belong to 24 Quick Loans Services nor the other names being used (Best Finance America, 24 Seven Loans).
BBB warns against companies asking for up front fees; although legitimate lenders may charge application, appraisal or credit report fees, the fees generally are taken from the amount borrowed. It is illegal for companies doing business by phone in the US and Canada to promise you a loan and ask you to pay for it before they deliver. BBB also warns against wiring money or sending money orders through western union or making your payment to an individual rather than an organization as there are no safeguards in place.
