Buyer Beware!!!! I purchased this range less than a year ago. The hinges don’t allow a good seal, so temperature stability is not possible. I notified Thor and opened a claim with them 6+ months ago. Then never heard back, so I’ve emailed and spoken directly with the gal named Renette who was supposed to set up a technician to come out and assist us. After over a month of not hearing from anyone to set up an appointment, I emailed her again, and again, and again. Finally, I called multiple times and finally was put through to her, she made the claim that she was sorry for the delayed response (more like no response) and that they are swamped with claims (I’ll bet) and that she was forwarding our claim to an independent repair company in our area… then radio silence. Finally, we got in touch with the local repair company and they told us they don’t service Thor products. We emailed Renette again regarding the situation and she never responded, so after another month, I called and spoke with her and she claimed that we were incorrect and she will call the repair company to hear it directly from them. Only another month passed with radio silence, so I forwarded the email I received from the repair company and you guessed it….. radio silence. All we need are the hinges replaced. You cannot buy them separately online, so we are at Thor’s mercy. At this point, we just want our money back and they can come and pick up their defective unit….. but, clearly that is not going to happen. In the meantime, we are keeping our oven door closed with a 2x4. UPDATE 12/03/2021 We are still trying to get in contact with Renette in the chino office and as usual, she isn’t responding. We were in contact with the repair company and they told us that they don’t have anyone in our state to do the repair. Our oven is not able to be used safely. We just want our money back, but we can’t even get that. At this point we are going to file a legal claim against Thor.
