On July 27, 2017 In N Out Restoration & Development was issued a citation by the Contractors State License Board. The citation alleges the company conspired with a non-licensee, a Violation of #125 of the Business & Professions Code and misuse or misrepresentation of a license, Violation #119. The status of the citation is "Criminal Case Filed."

If a complaint is referred to the Office of the Attorney General for legal action, it may result in the suspension or revocation of the license.
