On August 2nd, 2023, BBB requested Foreveruspspost to substantiate, modify or discontinue claims on their website, "https://www.foreveruspspost.shop/ and https://www.kaortty.shop/" . The business displays price comparison on their website, as well as the USPS logo and a countdown timer that never ends. The website reads:
“United States Postal Service”“Foreveruspspost.com is a privately held company and is not affiliated with or represented by the United States Postal Service or any other government institution, nor claim to operate or provide products and services on their behalf.

“50% OFF US Forever Stamps Postage”
BBB’s Code of Advertising section 1 Basic Principles of the Code states that the advertisements should be truthful, sincere offers to sell. Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request. All advertising that may mislead or deceive consumers should be avoided.
BBB’s Code of Advertising section 2 Comparative Price, Value and Savings Claims, states that when comparing prices to one’s own former selling price, current price of others, list prices, wholesale prices, or to items which are imperfect, it is important to make sure that consumers have all the necessary information to make an informed purchase. In addition, when offering a price match guarantee, the offer should be made in good faith, include all necessary information to take advantage of it and not place an unreasonable burden on the consumer who wants to take advantage of the offer.
BBB’s Code of Advertising section 3 Comparison with own former selling price states that the former price must be the actual price at which the advertiser has openly and actively offered the product or service for sale, for a reasonably substantial period of time, in the recent, regular course of business, honestly and in good faith.
BBB’s Code of Advertising section 9 Sales states retailers can advertise “sales” where they are offering a significant reduction in price for a limited period of time. At the end of the sale period, retailers can, in good faith, convert the sale price to a new regular price if they no longer claim a savings.
As of August 18th, 2023, the business has not provided substantiation to BBB's request.
