On March 4, 2019 The Arizona Attorney General filed a complaint in the County of Maricopa, against J. Paul Reddam. Charges filed allege J. Paul Reddam is in violation of the Consumer Fraud Act prohibiting deceptive or unfair act or practices, fraud, false pretense, false promise, misrepresentation or concealment, suppression or omission of any material fact with intent that others rely on such concealment. The J. Paul allegedly misrepresented the inapplicability of Arizona law in order to charge usurious interest rates to Arizona Consumers.
The matter is pending.
