As a Montessori Program, Hermosa integrates the teaching of peaceful, self-responsible behavior into all aspects of the curriculum. Hermosa students and staff are instructed in non-violent communication and the school has a zero-tolerence policy for violent behavior. Alcohol, drug and tobacco abuse prevention are included in the curriculum. The campus is fully fenced and gated for the safety of the children.
