On July 20, 2021, Carvana LLC entered into a settlement agreement with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. The agreement settles allegations that the business sold cars in the state of California without a dealer's license, and the business delivered cars in the state of California without a Transporter’s license. Under terms of the settlement, the business agreed to pay $150,000 in penalties, $50,000 in investigative costs and was ordered to pay $50,000 in restitution. The Assurance was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding a violation of the law.
This action is final.
