On December 31, 2020, TriWest Healthcare Alliance Corp entered into a Settlement with the Department of Justice. The Settlement settles allegations that the business received overpayments including payments by the US Department of Veterans Affairs to the business for the same services as well as payments for services for which the business received full or partial reimbursement from certain health care providers. Under terms of the settlement, the business agreed to pay $179,700,000 to the United States.
