On September 27th, 2018, 1st Step to Greatness LLC was issued a State Civil Money Penalty by the Arizona Department of Health. The penalty settles allegations that the business Had three staff members working at the facility with an invalid fingerprint clearance card. Under terms of the penalty, the business agreed to pay $400.

On May 22, 2019, 1st Step to Greatness LLC was issued a State Civil Money Penalty by the Arizona Department of Health. The Penalty settled allegations that the business failed to complete the new staff training for two staff members, drinking water was not accessible in the first and second rooms, the lesson plans were not posted or are not for the current week, infant cribs are not placed at least 2 ft apart or closed end to end, and infant feeding instructions were not present. Under terms of the penalty, the business agreed to pay $1,400.
