- Additional Info:On August 29, 2019, Sam's Club Member Services (Respondent) entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Commerce for the alleged violation of selling cigarettes below the allowed minimum prices, in violation of Minn. Stat. § 325D.33 subd.1 (2018).
Per the Consent Order, Respondent shall pay a civil penalty in the amount of $2,500, shall cease and desist from violating any laws, rules or orders related to the duties and responsibilities entrusted to the Commissioner under Minnesota Statute Chapters 45 and 325 and pay $90 of Investigative costs.
