Consumers allege that the owner takes money for the down payment of a construction project, and money for supplies from customers, but then does not show up to start the work. On occasion, the owner starts or completes the project, but his clients allege that the work is not satisfactory, and the owner does not return to make repairs. Consumers also allege that the owner, Philip Slobodzian, appears to be targeting seniors.
The Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services advises that they have charged, and convicted Philip Slobodzian under the Consumer Protection Act. To read these charges, and the resulting convictions, please see the Government Action section of this review.
