- Additional Info:In the summer of 2018 BBB began receiving complaints about Easy Slim Body. These complaints explained that consumers were having difficulties with contacting the company. Many of the reports filed with BBB state that the consumer did not receive the items they ordered. When the customers tried to contact Easy Slim Body they found that they could leave messages and send emails, but did not get any responses from the company.
Of the 12 complaints filed with BBB as of December 20, 2018 only one response was received from Easy Slim Body.
BBB began looking more closely at this company. It was found that the reported address is a shared workspace, and not a storefront for Easy Slim Body.
We also noted advertising concerns with the url: easyslimbody.com.
The company was still advertising a summer special in December of 2018.
They claimed that they were a family business. The family photo they used is a stock photo that allowed users to insert a graphic overlay on the T-shirts of the models that included the branding of Easy Slim Body.
The company claimed that their sauna suits would assist with weight loss. They referenced a very poorly conducted study to support this claim.
As of December 20, 2018 the online store: easyslimbody.com is not active, but shows that they are coming soon.
