            On February 26 and March 6, 2020, BBB requested that the business modify its website to be in compliance with the BBB Code of Advertising.


            BBB noted that virtually every item on the business’s website appears to be "on sale." The BBB Code of Advertising addresses sales and pricing issues in Sections 2-7. The offered prices of the company’s merchandise appear to be the usual selling prices and not representative of a limited sale as the advertising implies with a struck out price that accompanies every “sale” price.


            BBB requested that the business modify its advertised prices to be in compliance with sections 2-7 of the BBB Code of Advertising by removing the misleading sales price claims or by conspicuously disclosing which valid basis of comparison is being used.


            Additionally, the business’s product pages seem to create the appearance of limited availability. For instance, the product page for the “3D Puzzle Multilayer Wooden Toys,” includes the statement, “Only 10 items left in stock!” This is accompanied with a partially filled graphic that implies only a select number of these products are available.


            These features on their website do not appear to be based on the business’s intentions or product availability. The number of items available never changes, leading BBB to believe that this feature is deceptively creating a false sense of urgency.


            BBB requested that the business remove these statements and features from their website since they appear to be misleading.


            Alternatively, BBB welcomed the business to provide substantiation that these features are, in fact, an accurate reflection of their sale intentions and product availability.


            The business did not respond to BBB regarding these requests.

            BBB received a significant volume of complaints against this business in a short timespan. This influx of complaints prompted an internal investigation of the business’s practices. Based on BBB’s review, it appears this business is an online retailer of various homegoods and personal accessories. BBB sent correspondence to the business by email and postal mail on February 26 and March 6, 2020. Our letters requested the following:

            • Information concerning where the business is physically located. BBB currently lists an address of 412 N Main St Ste 100, Buffalo, WY 82834. BBB understands that this is a commercial registered agent’s location and typically not a physical place of business. Furthermore, the business’s website lists an address of 25883 N Park Ave. Elkhart, Indiana; however, a different business not associated with Nasey LLC appears to be operating from this location. 
            • Copies of company advertising, including marketing/promotional materials and/or solicitation pieces.
            • A list of any additional websites the business operates.
            • Information concerning the owners or principals of Nasey LLC.

            The business did not respond to BBB regarding these requests.
