          BBB has received one Scam Tracker reports on UrbanProtectUs in June 2020 and one complaint in July 2020. Consumers state their payments were processed soon after purchase; however their products were never received. Some consumers were never able to reach customer service, while others received responses until they requested to cancel their orders.

          The company uses an address of 10 Rustic Drive, Buckhannon, WV 26201. BBB received a letter from the owner of this residence stating “my wife and I are 77 year old retired educators who do not own or operate a business, nor have we ever advertised or sold any items or products over the internet. A person or persons have stolen our home address … They also breeched my Pay Pal account which I have since cancelled, along with my VISA card.”

          BBB investigation shows the website, urbangearus.com was registered on 5/22/2020, urbanprotectus.com was registered on 5/26/2020 then the website, www.urbanmamus.com was registered on 6/09/2020 all from Ha N, Vietnam. There are several additional websites also using the Buckhannon address. The websites are: Vivelacebeauty.com, printzily.com, allientimaskes.com, us-bestdeals.com, www.eliotshield.com, www.urbanmamus.com and www.urbanshieldous.com. All websites look similar in nature, used GoDaddy and are registered from Vietnam. Also BBB has received complaints, customer reviews and/or scamtracker reports on all of them alleging payments taken, but not products received.

          BBB has contacted GoDaddy in an attempt to have the websites shutdown.

          As of June 30, 2020, the company's true location is still unknown.
