      setup an appointment 2 1/2 weeks ago for pup. took the day off no pay to go over and have him seen. because I did not call in they canceled his appointment and I lost a day of wages. I called at ***** for my appointment at **** AND THE TOLD ME HIS SPOT WAS FILLED!!no apology , no remorse, they told me its a business.....I told them if they would have said this when i booked the appointment i would have called earlier.now i have to find someone else and lose a 2nd DAY OF WAGES!!this place and their employees ARE HORRIBLE!!

      My dog renewed his year contract on April 3 2021. He was put down May 4 2021. In that time he had 2 visits, a comprehensive exam and the second to take blood to see what was wrong. Nothing else, no vaccines, nothing. They simply looked him over and took blood ONCE! I paid for the a total of 4 months, until August when I stopped the payments. My dog was dead and figured I had already paid for 3 more months AFTER he was dead. They have continually harassed me telling me I owe $584.00 for my 2 visits. The rep even told me that amount was in ADDITION to what I had paid on my own to put him down, all his meds and an X-ray. All those things were out of pocket! So they want to charge me $584 more than the $179.80 I already paid for those 4 months, 3 of which he was already dead for no services rendered other than taking his blood. I have also called around and discovered that under no circumstances does blood work taken once cost more than the $179.80 I have already paid them. I am beyond disgusted with the way they handle and harass clients when a part of their family has died. No other contract in existence has ever continued AFTER the subject of that contract no longer exists! I have already over paid them by 3 months after he was deceased . I cant imagine this is even remotely legal.

      I've been paying my plan accordingly, I've been trying to get my dog vaccinated but I can't because they don't have vaccines or appointments, have been dealing with this for the last 6 months, I want to cancel the plan because they don't have the vaccines, so if I want to cancel I have to pay the complete year when is not my fault they don't have vaccines, appointments and my dog can't receive the propper service

      They did put my dog in heart arrhythmia. Now he is deceased. They will not let me cancel my plan. Why would you let a consumer pay for a dog that does not Exist

      After having to unfortunately put my sick cat down, I was continuously billed and scammed by the wellness plan company for services that the vet said should be voided. The customer service reps on the phone were extremely rude and unhelpful, and the company showed no compassion for my circumstances. So not only did I lose my best friend, I am being charged for an entire year after only taking her to one appointment before she died.

      My credit card is debited monthly for the services that are part of the wellness program. However, I have not been able to access most services since 2020. When I tried to schedule services, there is usually a two months wait, including required vaccinations. The current calendar shows no availability until next year. I paid almost $1000 for 2020 and 2021 so far and cant access any services. I feel I should be refunded for the payments I made since the services covered under the program were not delivered.

      Loved the technicians, they would greet my dog and pick up him and give him kisses. Everything was great. I was able to see VM and talk about my dogs health issues. 2. Was offered wellness plan cannot remember how much around $35.00 which I accepted. 3. Later, I upped (around $55.00) insurance offered by the *** 3. My Boston Terrier lost weight from 33 lbs. to 24 in a matter of one month. His immune system completely shut down. 4. Took to Banfield and was told by VM he was doing great even though his ribs and spine were already showing. I was charged for the steroids twice in the form of tablets, and then he was given an injection. For which I was charged. 5. After everything I did, could no longer talk, or see VM had to leave a message, then one of the technicians would relay message, and she would call me back with answer. Never heard from them again. 6. Unfortunately, I had to put my dog to sleep, and called to cancel the so-called wellness plan but was told by one of the agents that I had to pay the reminder of the plan. 7. I will not even think about using Banfield again. A great disappointment.

      This is the worst Vet experience that my spouse and I have ever had. We have been bringing our first dog to this place and no health issues seen on our dog for a year then decided to have my dog spayed. Schedule was made then when the time came for the operation the staff never told me that they would be closed for the following day and for thanksgiving giving day post op. Front desk even had time to add microchip and bordetella vaccine done on our dog all at once. Our dog is only 5.3lbs and asked the intake to ask the doctor first if it is ok to have that all done at the same day. Front desk still convinced me to sign for all of that. Claimed she will inform the doctor. Post op time paperwork were handed to me on pick staff just showed me the things they did and what I needed to do for our dog later. Staff claimed our dog was very nervous and our dog kept crying. Never told me at all that they would be closed for the next 2 days. When we got home our dog was very groggy and kept vomiting until the next day. Called Banfield but no answer only voicemail then decided to take our dog to the nearest Animal hospital that will take our dog right away. The animal hospital written down on our discharge papers couldnt take our dog and well have to wait at least 5hrs or so to get in. Our dog got sicker and weaker then eventually passed. Per animal hospital ER doctor our dog had a scar tissue that was moved and opened up during the procedure. This lead to infection and our dog went septic with her tiny body and post op couldnt really survive that. I feel like they lack communication never told us they would be closed after our dogs surgery and never called me that our dog was really nervous and aggressive during or before the surgery. We are very devastated and our dog cannot be replaced. The staff is overwhelmed and doesnt have much time to check on our pets. Because another dog we took there had a vaccine reaction but they didnt notice it while she was there for hours.

      I used to like them a lot - now I'm disgusted. I've called twice and got a VM that said they'd call back in an hour.....10 DAYS LATER, no call returned. Got on their website and soonest appt for my dog was 3 weeks out. I pay $45/month for their wellness plan and I can't get the courtesy of a return call. Now the plan offers "telehealth" for pets. How does that work.....bark once for yes, bark twice for no? Absurd! I also had them when my previous pet, ******, was killed by a coyote. The vet was very caring and supportive. Then in the next 24 hours, I received 4 collection calls. I was devastated at seeing my pet killed in front of me and then they harrass me for payment after I'd been a loyal paying customer for 9 years???? Hardly a deadbeat that just walked in the door! I'm cancelling the Wellness Plan and never plan to use Banfield again.
