          On February 1, 2017, BBB contacted Coopers Carpet Care requesting the company modify its advertisement. Specifically, the company is displaying BBB's Accredited Business seal on its’ company van as shown on the company’s Facebook profile picture. Use of BBB's Accredited Business seal may imply BBB Accreditation, although this company is not currently a BBB Accredited Business.

          BBB's name and seals are federally registered trademarks owned by the Council of Better Business Bureaus and may not be used without CBBB's express permission.

          Despite written requests, as of August 27, 2018, Coopers Carpet Care continues to display BBB's Accredited Business seal on its’ company van as shown on its’ Facebook profile picture. BBB has not received the company's written assurance it will refrain from using BBB's Accredited Business seal in an unauthorized manner.
