Additional Information for D Elliot Funding

On February 4, 2019, D Elliot Funding came to the attention of BBB. At that time, a consumer filed a complaint against the business for charging advance loan fees and never delivering the loan funds. The complainant stated that, over a period of 22 months, D Elliot Funding has charged them $108,850.00 in advance fees for a business loan and to date, no loan funding has been provided. The complainant also stated that D Elliot Funding had been collecting these upfront fees in iTunes Gift Cards and Western Union Wire Transfers. When the complainant would ask the business owner, Mike Dwayne Elliott, when the loan funds would be available, they were told that the funds would be deposited into their bank within two hours of paying one more fee.

BBB attempted to contact D Elliot Funding via email and phone but, did not receive a response. On February 15, 2019, BBB mailed a letter to the business address, 9621 Frank Lane Rd., Singers Glen, VA 22850, requesting additional information about D Elliot Funding. An email was received, in response to the letter, on February 19, 2019, from Mr. Mike Elliott. Mr. Elliott explained that his identity had been stolen several years ago and that he has worked law enforcement in an effort to stop further exploitation of his name, address and photo.
