February 2018, BBB attempted to contact Awesome Blue Frenchies (awebluefrenchies.com,
awfrenchbulldoghome.com, & cutemicropups.com) after receiving a report from
a consumer alleging that they paid $700 for a French Bulldog puppy. The consumer had no further contact from the business,
did not receive the puppy, and was unable to contact the business for a
refund. Two other consumers have
contacted BBB with concerns about these websites; however, neither of those
consumers reported sending any funds or other financial loss.
BBB
asked Awesome Blue Frenchies to provide basic
information including its physical address, a working telephone number, names
& contact information of responsible management, and verification of state
and/or federal licensure to breed and/or transport pets. BBB also requested references with full
contact information for at least ten (10) U.S. consumers who have made
successful pet purchases via the website. Additionally, BBB requested substantiation of testimonials as well as
guarantee claims made on the three websites. The results of that inquiry are reported in the Advertising Review
section of this Business Profile.
As
of February 20, 2018, BBB had received no response from Awesome Blue Frenchies. Registry information for the websites
shows that they originate in Panama. BBB
has not been able to locate information connecting the websites to any
corporation or other entity in the United States and the Richmond, Virginia
address used is fictitious.
BBB
has reason to believe that awebluefrenchies.com, awfrenchbulldoghome.com, &
cutemicropups.com are fraudulent websites with connections to pet
transportation scams. BBB urges consumers to use extreme caution before making
a purchase or sharing any other information with Awesome Blue Frenchies or any
related websites.
