The Board for Contractors found Maxmark Homes, LLC in violation of the following acts: Failure to honor the terms and conditions of a warranty. Virginia code regarding implied warranties on new homes:
In every sale of a new dwelling, the vendor shall be held to the warranty that at the time of the transfer of title or possession by the vendee, free of structural defects, constructed in a workman like manner so as to pass without objection in the trade.
