It has come to BBB’s attention that seven members of Rubicon, a Bountiful-based general contracting company, were charged on November 24, 2023 in 2nd District Court with seven counts of aggravated human trafficking. Four of the leaders were also charged with engaging in a pattern of unlawful activity. Rudy Larsen, the founder of Rubicon, was charged with money laundering.
These charges followed a six month labor trafficking investigation by the Utah Attorney General’s Office. The next court hearing is scheduled for January 3, 2024.
