          On November 9, 2020 the Commissioner of the Texas State Securities Board entered an Emergency Cease and Desist Order to stop Brian Alfaro and Kristi Alfaro from operating an alleged investment scheme. The Order involves ARCA Wildlife Development and Conservation LLC, an entity organized by Kristi Alfaro. The Alfaros are marketing units issued by Texas Savanna Partners, LLC and allegedly telling potential clients that ARCA Wildlife will use proceeds of the sales of units to acquire livestock, improve property and manage a wildlife breeding scheme in Zavala County, Texas.

          Government Action

          United States v. Brian Keith Alfaro

          The following describes a formal government action that has been resolved by either a settlement or a decision by a court or administrative agency. If the matter is being appealed, it will be noted below.

          On November 10, 2020, a federal judge sentenced Brian Keith Alfaro, of San Antonio, to 121 months in federal prison after a jury found him guilty of mail fraud in connection with defrauding investors in an oil and gas investment scheme. In addition to serving the prison term, Alfaro must pay restitution of  $9,922,428.63 and be placed on supervised release three years after completing his prison term. Evidence shows Alfaro used investor funds to further an extravagant lifestyle, including the purchase of a Lamborghini and season tickets for the San Antonio Spurs.
