On January 17, 2024, BBB contacted Rehydra regarding advertised claims on their website, https://www.rehydraplus.com/ and their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/people/Rehydra-Mobile-IV-Therapy/100093544124767/ and their Instagram page, https://www.instagram.com/rehydra.iv.therapy/. Rehydra advertises IV infusions such as "COVID Recover", "Cold & Flu", "Immune Booster", "Recovery (Athletic)", "Energy Boost", "Hangover Cure", "Beauty Plus", "Migraine Relief", and "B-Lean (Weight Loss) IV." Rehydra advertises claim that their Beauty IVs can "prevent the damaging effects of free radicals, slow the aging process, strengthen hair, nails, skin, and eyes, brighten skin, improve blemishes, reduce the appearance of wrinkles". BBB Code of Advertising states, that claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data. BBB requested Rehydra provide any evidence including but not limited to studies from recent and competent testing or other objective data substantiating their services and claims about their specific products or discontinue any statements claiming results. As of February 29, 2024, Rehydra failed to respond to BBB's request to substantiate or discontinue the advertised claims.
