On June 17, 2022, BBB contacted Grande Ice LLC regarding advertised the warranty on their website http://grandeice.com.
Grande Ice LLC advertises they offer a "12 month bumper to bumper warranty on each ice machine" from Ice House America.
BBB Code of Advertising states when using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” the advertiser should
clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen
prior to the sale which could include putting it on the seller’s website.The Code also states sellers or manufacturers should advertise that a product or service is warranted or guaranteed only if the seller or manufacturer promptly and fully performs its obligations under the warranty or guarantee.
BBB requested a copy of Grande Ice LLC's warranty. BBB also requested Grande Ice LLC to include a
statement explaining how consumers could view the full warranty details prior to purchase or modify their website to include the full warranty details.As of July 19, 2022, Grande Ice LLC failed to respond to BBB's requests.
