          On January 22, 2019, BBB contacted TK Trailer Parts LLC regarding advertised claims on its website https://thetrailerpartsoutlet.com/ and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/thetrailerpartsoutlet/. Specifically, BBB requested the business clearly and conspicuously disclose which basis of comparison is being used for the pricing on its specials page. Regarding price reduction and savings claims, BBB Code of Advertising states the advertisement must clearly and conspicuously disclose which basis of comparison is being used. 

          BBB also requested the business modify statements of "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" to disclose how consumers can view its complete details prior to purchase. BBB Code of Advertising states when using term "warranty" or "guarantee" in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale.

          Additionally, BBB requested the business clearly and conspicuously disclose the terms and conditions regarding its offer of free shipping. BBB Code of Advertising states "free" offers in advertising must make clear at the outset all the terms and conditions of the offer. 

          As of February 13, 2019, BBB has not received a response to these requests.
