UNITED STATES v. SANTIAGO MORA, Criminal No. 4:20-cr-618
On November 19, 2020, the the United States filed an Indictment (Criminal No. 4:20-cr-618) against Santiago Mora in the United States District Court Southern District of Texas Houston Division. Charges filed by the Grand Jury in the Indictment allege Counts One-Three for Wire Fraud- 18 U.S.C. 1343 and state the following: "On or about the dates set forth, in the Houston Division of the Southern
District of Texas and elsewhere, the defendant listed, did aid and abet with others known and unknown to the grand jury, for the purpose of executing the aforementioned scheme and artifice to defraud and to obtain money by material false and fraudulent representations, pretenses, and promises, did intentionally and knowingly cause to be transmitted by means of wire communication in interstate or foreign commerce." The matter is pending.
