          Pattern of Complaints

          Since 2016, the BBB Houston began receiving several complaints and customer reviews for Eco Waste & Recycling that are exhibiting the following pattern.  

           

          According to numerous customers, the company requires quarterly pre-payment for waste retrieval and recycling services. However, when consumers changed service providers mid-quarter, they were not refunded despite their approved requests by the company. Additionally, many consumers alleged that the company’s waste retrieval service is severely inconsistent and does not meet the agreed time nor days per their contracts. When consumers attempt to contact Eco Waste & Recycling regarding reimbursement/credit for the missed day(s), they are unable to speak with a customer service representative following long wait times; other consumers’ requests are allegedly declined. Several complaints have been sent to Eco Waste & Recycling but the company has  failed to provide the bureau with a response.
