Pattern of Complaints
Since March of 2015, the BBB of Houston & South Texas has received numerous complaints that exhibit the pattern below:
It is alleged by consumers of Food Trucks Insurance, the company is misleading when stating they will build a food truck within months. The consumers allege they are signing contracts and providing the company with large deposits, however when it is time for the truck to be delivered Food Trucks Insurance gives several excuses as to why the truck is not ready. Many of the consumers have difficulty when attempting to reach the owner. When they are finally able to make contact with the company, their request for refunds are met with additional excuses for failure to honor contracts or provide refunds. Food Truck Insurance has failed to address the complaints, despite several requests for a written response.
